With so many events being cancelled, Bid Beacon can help you continue your fundraising efforts – at a distance. With Bid Beacon, you can run a completely virtual auction with virtual items like gift cards, eBooks, streaming service subscriptions, or apps.
You can also use Bid Beacon’s donation feature to open up a fundraising channel without any auction at all. Covered in the video below are the following steps to get your fundraising or donation event set up:
- Register and log into Bid Beacon.
- Create a new auction.
- Configure your Stripe, Square or PayPal account.
- Under “Manage Online Payments”, toggle “Require Immediate Payment (Donations and Buy Now Items)” to ON to let people pay for their donation right away.
- Add a Donation item.
- Invite users by importing a file of email addresses or sharing the invite page.
